Isn't this the feature we all wanted on Facebook. GIF images are awesome images to share expressions and feelings. So, I think this time Facebook has listened to use and made this feature available to us.

Facebook isn't allowing us to upload GIF images directly. So we need to upload those images to somewhere else and then share the link back on Facebook.
Or most of the people would be just sharing already created GIF images to Facebook, so you can just copy the GIF image's URL and then share it in the Facebook post. The image will be automatically loaded.
